I am very satisfied with my Veldt bicycle helmet! The manufacturing quality, comfort, and design are all there. I ride my bike every day and this helmet is just a revelation! It’s magnificent, the finishes are crazy, you can see right away that it’s high-end. Ultra comfortable, super light, you almost forget it once on your head. And in terms of security, it inspires real confidence — you feel well protected. I already crashed in the city and I feel more secure with the carbon kevlar chinguard that cleared DH MTB certification 😃

Helmet Certification

ECE 22.06:

European standard for helmets for motorcyclists and their passengers. It specifies the requirements for impact protection, retention system, field of vision and other aspects of the helmets. It will replace the current ECE 22.05 standard in 2023.

DOT:

American standard for helmets for motorcyclists on public roads. It covers the impact attenuation, penetration resistance, retention system and labeling of the helmets. It is mandatory for all motorcycle helmets sold in the US .

ECE 22.06:

Norme européenne pour les casques destinés aux motocyclistes et à leurs passagers. Elle spécifie les exigences en matière de protection contre les chocs, de système de rétention, de champ de vision et d’autres aspects des casques. Elle remplacera l’actuelle norme ECE 22.05 en 2023.

DOT:

Norme américaine pour les casques destinés aux motocyclistes circulant sur les voies publiques. Elle couvre l’atténuation de l’impact, la résistance à la pénétration, le système de rétention et l’étiquetage des casques. Il est obligatoire pour tous les casques de moto vendus aux États-Unis.
