Delivery Timelines – Products Availability

Most of our gear is shipped within 48 hours. Made-to-order products are shipped within 10 weeks. Our products and prices are valid as long as they are visible on the website, subject to availability. If the product you want is not available at the time of your visit please get in touch with us at contact@veldt.fr

Shipping

Shipment is free for all orders to the countries we deliver to (link). Shipping is made to the address stated in your order. UPS and FedEx handle most deliveries for Veldt. At the time of shipment, we will send you a confirmation email with the tracking number for the parcel. We cannot deliver to PO boxes. You must verify the completeness and accuracy of the information you provide when ordering, especially the delivery address. We will try to deliver your parcel at least twice to the delivery address. We reserve the right to cancel your purchase if no one has signed for the receipt of your parcel. Upon delivery, please inspect the packaging for damage. If the products are damaged, do not accept the shipment. We will refund your order as soon as we receive the return. You should also inspect the goods after receipt and notify us within 30 days of receipt if you have identified an issue. Otherwise, you will be deemed to have accepted the products.

Returning a product

Customers of www.veldt.fr may return products delivered within 30 calendar days after delivery without giving a reason, as long as:
– The products are not used in any way
– The products are in their original packaging
– The product is complete
please note that we will only reimburse shipping fees for returns made due to a quality problem.

  1. Find your order number or invoice number.
  2. With one of these document numbers, contact our customer service at contact@veldt.fr, we will provide you a return number.
  3. Products must be in their original condition and packed. Clearly identify the item to be returned by highlighting the return number.
  4. Dispatch your package making sure that the carrier has loss and/or damage warranty (like ups for example). We do not accept c.o.d. Deliveries.
    Returned items must be sent to this address: Veldt SAS 26, rue du Bourg Tibourg, 75004 Paris, France.
  5. Refund for returns will be given in the same way as the original payment was made once the returned item arrives in our distribution center. Refunds will be made within 30 days from the return of the item. If you want a new product to replace a returned item inform us of your decision or make a new order online.

Guarantee

Veldt guarantees the reliability of its product’s materials and manufacture for a period of five years from the date of purchase for most products and for a period of 10 years for Mark 2 helmets. If the product shows visible defects either in the materials or the manufacture during the guarantee period, please contact us by email at contact@veldt.fr. Veldt’s liability is limited to the cost of repair and/or the replacement of the item during the guarantee period. This guarantee does not apply in the case of defects other than those regarding materials or manufacture. The guarantee does not cover the following cases:

  1. Where the product is modified by the purchaser or a third party
  2. A helmet with an illegible serial number
  3. Deterioration that is not a result of defects in the manufacturing process
Pricing

For sales within the European Union, prices shown on our website include the VAT applicable on the day on which the order is placed; any change in the rate may be reflected in the prices of the products or services. The prices shown include the cost of processing orders and delivery to countries delivered by Veldt. Veldt reserves the right to alter its prices at any time, although it is hereby understood that the price shown on the website on the day of the order shall be the only one applicable to the purchaser.

Colors on the screen

Photography and images of the products are as close as possible to reality. Nevertheless, differences may exist with the final product, especially with colours displayed on screens. VELDT shall not be liable for any error or inaccuracy in the photographs or graphical representations of its products displayed in the veldt.fr website.

If you want a specific color not available on our configurator. send us an email at contact@veldt.fr with the Pantone reference or the silikens/dupont/ppg color code. We charge 50€ for this service.

Shipping delay or loss of parcel

In the event of late delivery, please get in touch with our customer service at contact@veldt.fr. We kindly invite you to first check your information and delivery status on the carrier’s website (eg, www.ups.com or www.fedex.com). The carrier will open an investigation at the request of Veldt in order to locate your package. This investigation may take up to 21 working days from initiation. If during this period, the product is found, it will shipped back to your home as quickly as possible. After this period, we will consider the package lost. Following the end of an investigation, we will send you a new product or reimburse you. Neither refund nor shipment of a new product can be arranged before the end of the investigation.

Data Checks

To ensure the security of transactions and prevent fraud in online selling, we carry out checks throughout the order process. Once the order is registered, we may perform further checks to detect possible fraud. THESE CHECKS MAY INCLUDE VALIDATING YOUR NAME, ADDRESS AND OTHER PERSONAL INFORMATION AS SUPPLIED BY YOU DURING THE ORDERING PROCESS. By submitting your order, you agree to these terms.

Helmets limitations of liability

PROPER USE: This helmet is a protection device and should be treated as such. Under no circumstances should the helmet be dropped or carelessly used in anyway which could cause damage. This damage may not be visible or even if visible, it may in some instances reduce the helmets performance. Therefore if subjected to a severe impact, the helmet should be destroyed and replaced. SAFETY PRECAUTIONS: No helmet can protect the user against all possible types of impacts. For maximum protection, the helmet must fit firmly on the head and all retention straps must be securely fastened. No attachments should be added or alterations made to the helmet except those recommended by the manufacturer. Do not remove parts from the helmet without replacing them with genuine replacements. PACKAGING: A padded helmet carry-bag is recommended. For freighting we recommend that the helmet is packaged in its original Veldt box. MAINTENANCE: The helmet may be damaged and rendered ineffective by such materials as petroleum and petroleum products, cleaning agents, paints and adhesives, without the damage being visible to the user. For the list of suitable cleaning agents that can be applied to the helmet, please contact the manufacturer. TERMS, CONDITIONS AND WARRANTIES (INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY AS TO MERCHANTABLE QUALITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE) IMPLIED BY COMMON LAW OR STATUTE (IMPLIED WARRANTIES), AS TO THE QUALITY OR SPECIFICATIONS OF THE HELMET, ARE EXCLUDED UNLESS THE EXCLUSION OF ANY SUCH IMPLIED WARRANTIES WOULD CONTRAVENE APPLICABLE LAWS OR CAUSE ANY PART OF THIS WARRANTY TO BE VOID. THE WARRANTIES, OBLIGATIONS AND LIABILITIES OF MANUFACTURER HEREUNDER ARE EXCLUSIVE. THE MANUFACTURER WILL UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGE ARISING FROM THE USE OF THE HELMET. WARNING: (1) THE HELMET CANNOT PROTECT AGAINST ALL POSSIBLE IMPACTS, AND SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH COULD OCCUR WHILE WEARING THE HELMET. (2) AN IMPROPERLY FITTED OR FASTENED HELMET MAY “ROLL OFF” THE HEAD IN A COLLISION OR AT ANYTIME. FOR MAXIMUM PROTECTION THE HELMET MUST BE FITTED AND ATTACHED PROPERLY TO THE WEARER’S HEAD IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE MANUFACTURER’S FITTING INSTRUCTIONS. (3) AFTER RECEIVING AN IMPACT, THE HELMET MAY BE DAMAGED TO THE POINT THAT IT IS NO LONGER ADEQUATE TO PROTECT THE HEAD AGAINST FURTHER IMPACTS. THIS DAMAGE MAY NOT BE VISIBLE TO THE USER. A HELMET THAT HAS SUSTAINED AN IMPACT SHOULD BE DESTROYED AND REPLACED. These Terms are governed by and interpreted following the laws of France, and the use of the United Nations Convention of Contracts for the International Sales of Goods is expressly excluded. If your habitual residence is in the EU, and you are a consumer, you additionally possess the protection provided to you by obligatory provisions of the law in your country to residence. Veldt SAS and yourself both agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Paris, which means that you may make a claim to defend your consumer protection rights in regards to these Legal Terms in France, or in the EU country in which you reside. Any conduct which recognizes the existence of this Manual User – Warranty, including but not limited to the purchase of the helmet by user shall constitute acceptance of this User Manual – Warranty and all of its terms and conditions. Website Responsibility Online selling engages the vendor to a means responsibility. Veldt shall not be liable for damages that result from the use of, or the inability to use, the website. Veldt does not warrant that the functions contained in the website will be uninterrupted or error-free, suffer intrusion, virus attack and other involuntary difficulties.
